Dealing with the Media |
Does dealing with the media intimidate you?
Have you been caught off guard by the media? Do you dread dealing with the media for fear you may say the wrong thing? The Graduate School is proud to announce the course, Dealing with the Media, to help you manage many specific functions of a media relations office and to coach others to conduct a broad range of specific assignments.
Premiering February 23-25, 2005 in Washington, D.C., you learn how to effectively plan and execute the packaging of messages and programs. You address the most common media situations, such as news conferences, media interviews and press releases; understand how these techniques apply to agency education outreach programs; as well as explore special or unique circumstances such as crisis management. |
